Nope! I've got the damn thing too. Can't scan antivirus, can't scan malware or spyware or anything. Won't even let me install a new programme to get rid of it. Just about to pull the chords and take it to be fixed. Fingers crossed. If someone knows the easy out please respond.Thanks. Desperate.

i think its somthing to do with the windows internet explorer 8, cause when i uninstalled the update back to 7 it goes away. ive been tryin to figure it out myself, and i believe this is where it comes from. ps. i know absolutely nothing about computors.

concur....haven't a clue what it is...i also have on vista....verizon internet security suite (mcafee) continues to tell me that its a registry error, but can't clean it......
